I baught a PRS Standard back in may 2007. At the same time I baught a Legacy Ornamental Mill 1800 model. I've been using my shopbot alot more than my legacy because it fits my type of work more and now I want to buy another shopbot. Before I can do this I am thinking about selling legacy or trading it for another bot. The advice I need is how do I post this since legacy has no forum and I really don't know a lot of woodworkers. I don't think running an ad it my local paper will help. Most people don't know what a ornamental mill is. What would you do?

consider e-bay and maybe Craigs list in your local area.
I too have a legacy and generally it gets used once a year so I should probably sell mine too but it seems that one job a year pays for the machine again so i'm not sure the one time discounted cash reward is worth it.
best of luck

William,
Do you know about our google group?
http://groups.google.com/group/Legacy-Ornamental-Mills
post your notice there. Its no where as active as this forum but people do get on and ask for used units.

Thanks Jack ,
I too have a legacy mill that might get used once a year but when i need it it pays for itself , By the way , Thanks for the tip on Fred at centurion tools . I ordered a dozen 1/4 compression bits and they work great, i also did the 7.2.1 upgrade and between the two i would not take a full price refund on my bot Period. It`s working better than it ever has. Thanks again Gene
