Thoughts on the new PRS.......................

I am up and running now with the new PRS about one month and I have to say I am delighted with it. This is my second Shopbot, I also run a PRT Alpha.
I am VERY impressed with the new PRS for several reasons. It is much easier to access and change bits, it is a very sturdy, strong and fast machien. It's overall design is simpler, making it simpler to set up and mentain. I have to say, shopbot tools do my job well and I push them hard every day but the new PRS is tooling me up for growth.
Well done Shopbot on this great break trough in design, software and hardware.
I thourally recomend this machien.

Are you running both bots currently?
I am thinking of buying a second bot as well.

If so do you run them both from same computer or?

Yes, I run two bots each day. They are both set up independently, with seperate computers, vacuum and extraction thought they are both part of the same network so it is easy to share files. I have noticed the sharing of files between both machines to be no problem either.
I have the business modle where I run production items on one while I R&D on the other.
I would like to upgreade the PRT with the new gantry next.
