I am not promoting this website or anything, but it is a good way to create some buzz about your business.
I use Icontact.com to send out bulk mailings to customers, and hope soon to be customers. You can create messages with pictures very easy and send them out to mailing lists without getting blacklisted from email servers.
There are many sites like it such as Verticalresponse.com that do things similar. After you create your messages, you are automatically posted to a community message board which will give customers easy access to your website via organic keyword searches on Yahoo and Google.
