Of all the discussions I've read regarding spindles and how quiet they are, not one of you has mentioned that the fan makes more noise than the spindle!
I started following the warm up instructions and I spent the better part of a half hour trying to figure out why the spindle wasn't turning!
Well as it happens, it had always been spinning. Since it was well after midnight and I was more than a little tired, I didn't notice the nut on the spindle was actually spinning. I hadn't installed a cutter yet. Boy, did I feel like a dork.

When this pic was taken, I hadn't finalized the wire routing or installed the dust shoe.
As you can see, the table sides are extruded. I didn't have to use a single shim to get the X rails perfect. Great stuff.
