"S" Stop problem?

I was cutting a file today and noticed the "S" stop was not responding (it always happened in the same spot when I repeated the file - also the "space bar" stop was not working at that location in the file).

Has anyone had this happen. After searching the forum, the new version of software fixes some of these problems. But the new software only runs if you have new V4g drivers which I don't have. Is that right?

Any suggestions? This is very disheartening to me since it always gave me relief to know that I could ALWAYS STOP the shopbot by using the "s" or space bar button.

I would appreciate any advise.
