Can Anyone do this?

I'm pretty new to cad (but learning fast) and I have very little problems creating files from scratch.
But I'm not proficient enough yet to create a cad file by copying a complicated physical item with various curves.

Robert,
You can do this easily. Just set that picture as a background image. Draw around the exterior with a best fit line (multiple points that gives a smooth line) and then adjust the nodes (points) to make it fit the profile. Everywhere there is a sharp corner will need to be the end of a line segment. Do one side and mirror and you are done. It should take you five minutes tops. There really is no need at all to know the dimensions of the curves.
