You would have to consult Vectric for the official license terms for their products.

Generally speaking, if you owned software and purchased an upgrade to the software, you are required to maintain ownership of the previous software version(s) to keep your upgrade version compliant to the licensing terms. Some companies specify that use of the previous version should be discontinued.

Think of it this way, in offering an "upgrade" price your previous purchase has been applied to your new product helping protect your investment.

Vectric's upgrade pricing and policies are very generous. We should all be thankful, thrilled and respectful of what they have offered and honor the licensing agreement.

Hello John,

The VCarve Pro license cannot be resold.

Roberts reply is spot-on.

You have purchased an Upgrade to Aspire which is a continuation / extension of your original VCarve Pro license.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks Everyone! I just got started with Aspire and love it. I'm so glad this price was offered to existing customers.
I've made good money with Vcarve Pro, so it wasn't wasted money, now I'll step up with the
"BIG BOYS" and make "Killer" signs & designs!
Just like Joe Crumley and Raymond Chapman.
