Recieved info from Techno cnc..
You can raster scan in anything that will fit on your cnc table. At the rate of 900 IPS!!
the scan point can be as small as .003 with any size in between.

The base price through dealer is only $7500.
The catch it you need to send directly from cnc through router to fast pc. If you have a very fast pc or a propriatory seperate system.

Then it makes a cloud point which you can import into just about any 3d software to make a cut file.

whoa hey, thats pretty sharp, scantech made it pretty simple. Wonder if they will offer different lenses for deeper scans.
