are there any pictures of the new alpha out there??? i would like to see the table where it is stiffened underneath. thanks

Have a look at the official ShopBot page (http://www.shopbottools.com/PRTalpha.htm). You will now see a heavily braced 6-legged table. (The download plans link (http://www.shopbottools.com/files/OwnersManual/3_3PRT96x48Table.pdf) still takes you to the unbraced 4-leg table design of a few years ago).

IMHO, the table design still seems to be experimental.
