Perhaps I missed it, but I don't recall seeing any mention of the 10 year anniversary (1 Feb 2006) of our beloved ShopBot company on the forum. So, I would like to thank Ted Hall and his outstanding support team, including the loyal users, for creating, marketing, and continually improving this wonderful machine. Ted and team - congratulations on your 1st 10 years in business and continued success for the future. All the best. Pete

Bill

I watched the video - great fun. I use my SB to carve the wife's meatloaf - have to use carbide bits though.

That is too funny. I have a copy of the story I think it was originally by NBC not sure, it never had a origin. But I added the article and vid to it

here's a link, 3rd story down

We showed the video at the Orlando Camp and asked Scott Feimster from Onsrud what sort of bit and feed speed they should have been using...unfortunately he didn't seem to have "yellow cake and icing" in his chipload charts. Grant wanted to cut it wide open with a 1/2" upspiral (until he found out that he would have to clean it up afterwards!)
