I cut this for my neighbor. He is a big cub fan.

I can recall many trips to go see the cubs and white sox games from where we lived. It was only a $4.00 bus ride to get there. Many an afternoon ditching school was at the ball park. That was the days of ernie banks and ron santo, and of course Jack Brickhouse. One of my favorites was going to the museum of science and industry. Pretty accurate representation of the sign. It looks like it is s type of mantle, or shelf? How long did it take you to do that? Good job!

Hey Jack,
Not to long to cut, I think less than an hour with bit changes, I used a 1/8" mill to profile inside the letters and all the scroll style work. Then a 1/4" end mill for clean out of the letters. And the shelf is for his bobble heads.

Nice Gerald, where are you in illinois? We should get together some time.

In a small town called Alexis. Kind of between Peoria and the Quad Cities.
