Khalid, did you build your own machine chassis? Please contact me at jonerikjohansen@yahoo.ca (mailto:jonerikjohansen@yahoo.ca) if you did. I am currently redesigning and modifying my PRT Alpha 96, and would love to share ideas with you.

JON, Following is my MDF Machine CAD drawings pictures... This machine has bigger working area and some unique built-in features for stability, rigidity and anti-racking... long axis is driven by Single Lead screw at the center with only 200 Oz-in motors...
1- The size of my table is 60" x 44"
2- The working area is 48" x 34"
3- The travel of Z-axis is 7"
4- i am using ACME screw (5/8"-5 TPI)... The length of long axis(Y-axis)is 62" and the small axis(X-axis) is 46"... the length of the z-axis ACME screw is 17"...
