V Rails/ Roller Cleaning

Hey all. I was wondering what others do to keep the v rails clean during regular operation? I wipe mine down and have to constantly wipe the "black" off of the rails and v rollers. I assume the black is just metal wear but has anyone came up with a device to mount to the machine to wipe them as the machine runs back and forth and does it keep them clean from build up???? My machine is a PRS standard.

I also use the felt to lube the rails. I drilled a small hole in the blocks and saturate it with machine oil.
