List: New here. I stumbled across this site while seaching for cutters. I have a Terrco K-Star multi-spindle (r/h & l/h turning) wood carving machine. I realize its not a ShopBot but there are some similarities. I am looking for cutters for this machine. I can go to Terrco but I m hoping to find a "cheaper" source. The only manufacture of R/H & L/H cutters (sometimes called pod bits) seems to be Forest City Tools.

Any ideas of other sources for these type cutters?

Thanks,
Lester Durst

Depending on the quantities you need almost any tool grinder from Onsrud to Bam Tools to Master Cut would be willing to make tools for it. The question would be if it is cheaper or not in the end. I would look up anyone who is listed as a tool maker near you or even contact resharpeners near you. A resharpener would know who is nearby. One caveat to remember is the quality of their raw material is going to vary widely. Not all carbide or high speed steel is created equally!
