Can some one advise me whether 12Hg@51.4CFM (mailto:12Hg@51.4CFM) is adequate for a 4' x 8' table. I will be cutting 2"x2" acrylic parts.
Thanks

If you are cutting nothing but 2" squares, I would use a table saw with a plastic blade. If you go to my site (http://www.ibild.com) and look at the table and stools, there are over 1800 pieces of 3/4, 1", 1-3/4 and 2" acrylic.
If your pieces are irregular, you will want to use gasketing such as that sold by AllStar (http://www.allstaradhesives.com) That rating pump would be adequate for use with gasketing and that size part, but not if you were planning on just using an open bleeder board/grid. The gasketing (use the spoilboard cover they sell) would make the difference between being able to do the job and not...It has for me with several jobs.

I have a piston vacuum pump which is rated at 12Hg@51.4CFM (mailto:12Hg@51.4CFM) and 28.8Hg@6.8CFM (mailto:28.8Hg@6.8CFM).
I just want to know whether is good for vacuum table
I doubt it would have enough CFM if you are pulling through a spoil board, however if you are using dedicated vacuum jigs, as Brady suggests above, then it should be more than adequate.
