View Full Version : Double lines on .eps import.

I do all of my design in FlexiSignPro and export as .eps format. I have a recent negative developement that is giving me fits.

When I import the .eps files into V-CarvePro, I get the original vector shapes PLUS I get a seperate "copy" of the shape in unconnected vector lines right on top of the correct vector shapes. Never did this before now but I don't recall making any changes.

So, if I select a shape for toolpathing in VCP, I have to first delete the duplicate line segment and then select the vector shape below. If I "select all" to toolpath, I get the errors for open paths, etc.

Has anyone ever had such a thing occur?

Thanks,
John

John,

I'm not familiar with FlexiSign, but check to see that your not getting an outline applied to your design and that there are no fills.

I can sometimes get this with CorelDraw if something other than "Hairline" is use for an entity or if someone has applied fills also (check for white fills).

Scott, You were right on. I must have inadvertantly clicked on an outline option in the Flexi program.

I selected "no outline" before saving the .eps files and now it's back to normal.

Many Thanks!
John
