Leave the legs off the 'Bot, you couldnt get a more stable & flat surface that 2 inches of slate.

In fact that shouldn't take to much coding to make 6 pockets, dovetail the rails, then . . . .

I also like the idea of just using it as the table part being all heavy and flat..Just set up the rails and gantry and go to work.

As for "Bot Blue being the color of money" That's what Ted H. says.

Agree with Angus...Would/could that slate bed be a possible bot bed? Definately heavy, flat, and solid. Just worth considering.
