I have searched my truetype font folder and can't figure out the name of this font (I don't have it) Does anyone know what the name of it is?
Also has anyone carved it and does it look good when cut small or could you recommend a better font for this type of carving?

Jack,
Here's a website I use all the time: http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
You just upload a sample and it will identify the font for you. I would need a higher resolution image to work with or I would do it for you.
Fonts like this are best used as display type like headlines. Whenever you get below say 24 points, they become fairly difficult to read. I've carved similar fonts (by hand - Before the Bot) and they look great. I did them as raised type (lots of work) and as v-carved which was a lot easier and easier to read at a smaller size. At least with the Bot you can run a sample just to see how it will work!

Jack,
My guess is that it is a font called Fette Kanzlei (you can get it for free at: http://www.creamundo.com/index.php?busqueda=Kanzlei&lang=en
If you like that kind of type, try something in the Fractur family. It's a lot smoother, more flowing and might carve faster...
