Just reporting a small bug in the Vectric software (Partworks) included with the bot. This is for version 1.100.

The software only supports feedrate accuracy of .1 in/sec. For example if you specify a rate of 0.26 in/sec, vectric rounds it to 0.3 in/sec when creating the shopbot file.

but do you really need more then a 1/10 of an inch accuracy in speed?

Hi Joe,

This isn't a bug and can easily be modified in the postprocessor.

Send an email to support@shopbottools.com (mailto:support@shopbottools.com) and Scott will take care of you.

Joe,
Your ShopBot will not go below the XY Move Ramp Speed value, accessed via the VR command in SB3, regardless of the speed value set using the MS command. To better understand this, check out http://www.shopbottools.com/BradysTricks.htm

Thanks. I was able to modify the postprocessing files as suggested. As per the question of needing the accuracy: cuttin aluminum, bits under 1/16 inch diameter.
