I have gotten myself into a bind by procrastinating. My daughter requested that I make new collection plates for her church and that they be ready for the church's 150th anniversary. Quite an honor.
Now the deadline is fast approaching.
Several months ago I purchased some nice-looking cherry for the plates with the intention of turning them. Now I am thinking that I can have the "Blue Monster" do most of the work on one plate while sanding/finishing another at the lathe.
Anyone know where I can find a cut file for stackable collection plates that are about 11.5 inches in diameter and about 1.75 inches high?
Details-----
Material:12x12x1.75 inch cherry
Machine: PRT96
Requirement: Recess in bottom 1/16-inch deep to hold 6-inch diameter pad.
Quantity: 6
Ideas, suggestions, comments, prayer, and assistance will be welcomed.
Slowly I turned...
