I was just wondering why, when I do the C3 routine, it backs off from the corner by .5" in both x & y and then calls that zero. I see that I can change that in the setup but was wondering if there was a good reason why it defaults to .5". I would prefer to make it zero at the corner so that I can use that for referencing toolpaths instead of having to subtract .5".
TIA

John...
That .5" is just what that programmer happened to select. That number is nothing more than the relationship between where the prox happens to be and where you wish your table zero to be. You can change either or both to any positive number you wish. My X is over 3" and my Y over 6.
