More spindel help!!

First Thanks to all that replied to the last post. Switch 4 seems to be the problem. I can turn both 1 & 4 on in keypad then esc from it and 4 goes off. I can now turn it back on with ( alt,4) The SO command will not turn it on it flashes but doesn't stay on. Then I hit start and it runs. As soon as I move any axis the pop up telling me to turn on the spindel appears and I hit ok. The axis moves and as soon as it stops sw 4 goes off and the spildel shuts off. This isn't normal is it?

Output #4 off limits as it is only displayed when the tool is in motion. That is to say, that you cannot use input #4 because the system uses it any time the tool is making a move or in Keyboard mode. Your spindle should be in output #1, and a secondary spindle can be used in #2 if you have ordered a 2nd spindle and the associated set of contactors to run it.

Thanks I spent some time on the phone with Ed Lang and got things squared away. It's great to belong to such a close family. Soon I'll be a real botter. LOL
