    Default Machine Parameters?

    I'd like to set up my Desktop as a custom machine in Fusion. Has anybody gone through and defined all of the parameters like dimensions, kinematics, machining time, etc?

    I use Fusion and I was aware of machine configuration but I have not been using it so far. There seems to be a definition for a Shopbot Desktop D2418 already provided with Fusion (it appears on my version at least). Some parameters are not defined but dimension are there.

    Do you have an idea of what the *real* benefits are for using machine definitions with Fusion ? in other words, what do you wand to get out of this ?
