    Default Zero-ing Z on indexer

What's the easiest way to zero an indexer to the centre of the chuck?

I've been doing it by eye to the tail stock but this doesn't feel very accurate.

There are two "routines" in the current version of shopbot software that you'll want to look at -- the first is CN,14 -- which guides you through setting up an alternative home offset for your indexer. The second CN,13 will run a homing routine that will offset your bit to the center of your indexer. You'll just need to Z Zero your bit to the table before running CN,14 and CN,13 to correctly offset the Z Axis.
