Default DeskTop Max control board w/5 drivers

I have for sale a never been used, new in 2016, V5 Desktop Max/Desktop control board complete with 5 Gecko drives. This could also be used on an older PRT machine with 1.5A - 2A motors, or even a DIY machine that uses around 1.9A motors.

    Asking $650.

    Scott,

What's the best way to find out if that's compatible with my December 2013 Regular Desktop?

I'll check tomorrow to see if the # matches.

    Hey Scott,

Yeah, check the numbers, but also check the amps on your motors. I thought that somewhere along the way they changed from Haydon Kerk to Thompson BSA motors.

Check the dimensions too, this one is 10.1875" long, with all the drives on the back side. Your desktop may be shorter with only 4 drives, and one of them being on top (indexer).

The control card itself is a V212. Should also note that it is a 48v board.

OH....Nothing wrong with machine in 11 yrs, just thinking ahead the SOME thing will go wrong, and thinking a control board would be almost impossible for Me to scab together.

    Hey Scott
Finally moved my winterization stuff away from machine, turned it around....
And Mine looks nothing like that.

Possibly when Glenn fabbed up ours with 5 limit switches and a never before also spindle interlock(now standard at 2015+ machines)....he had to jigger it a bit?

Electrics and myself are foes....and not going to take a chance.

    Be well Big Scott

    Update...

I'll include the aluminum panel that the controller and drivers are mounted on. This serves as the heat sink for the drivers and has the thermal tape in place to insulate them from the panel. Extra 5th driver (rotary) included and installed. If not using it on a DT Max, it could be cut down to fit a different enclosure.

    Reduced to $550.
