Used less than 40 hours per year.

    Located in Los Angeles CA.
Used for prototyping in .25" MDF and Kydex.
Almost always with .125" end mills so very light forces.

    Never a problem.
    Bulletproof.
Still works like it did when delivered.
Includes old Windows PC that runs it just fine.
Needs new monitor. Old one works but I broke the base today (DOH!).

    INCLUDES:
Various styles of dust collection (Retail 300.00 See Photos)

1 - Magnetic flexi air that mounts to Z. (Retail 175.00 See Photos).

1 - Widget Works Pressure Foot (Retail 229.95 See Photos).

1 - XYZ Zeroing plate. (Retail 149.00. See Photos) Never used it.

    2 - ER 25 collet nuts.

    11 - Imperial ER25 collets. (From .125" to 17/32 including .5").

    1 - Original SHOPBOT hat. (Priceless :-)

I just got those prices from the web. I know these are used and you can likely do better....but wanted to show that there is value in the included stuff.

I love Buddy. Buddy gave me the confidence to move on to designing for and using full industrial milling centers (Fadal etc) and even got me into 3D printing. (GCode is GCode).

Buddy's positioning is very precise and repeatable. Always within spec.
I used indexing pins for 2 sided work and never had a problem with things lining up.

Buddy's spindle is air cooled, 18,000 max RPM,
and programmable or manual variable speed.
Never had any problem with it.

The only reason I am selling Buddy is that I used some "recent downtime" to build a larger machine with a vacuum hold down system I derived from the BRADYVAC system I learned about in these forums.

I never had any problems with Buddy so didn't need much help from SHOPBOT....but the few times I had questions the answers were quickly given.

Buddy is built like a tank. Serious rigidity. Massive extrusions.
Really BUILT...but still fully portable with the rolling caster package and leveling feet installed.

Sits in a footprint 6 feet by 3 feet....but you will need some X axis space for the rolling 4' "Powerstick". (Longer are available)

The included VCarve software works great.
Very instinctive and easy to use with some functions and tools not found in other software packages.
Vectric is a great company with a seriously helpful forum and responsive customer service.

Have also used FUSION 360 to design for Buddy. Post processors are available. No hiccups that I can recall.

Buddy is in my home shop in the flats of Hollywood near Hollywood and Vine. You are welcome to come see. I will keep Buddy ready to run until sold.

I am willing to help load and travel (locally) to help you unload it and move it in. Can advise on power and help with wiring if that helps you.

I have Buddy running on a 30Amp Single Phase (2 pole) breaker.
Buddy is equipped with a NEMA L5-30 Twist Lock Connector.
